Among these legal battles, several lawsuits related to the events of January 6 have been notably greenlit by the D.C. Circuit. The court's decision comes despite Trump's opposition based on a 'civil immunity' argument, which was recently rejected in a similar case, Blassingame. This development adds to Trump's growing legal woes, as three additional lawsuits against him were also approved to proceed on Friday.
