Brazilian Air Force Launches Suborbital VS-30 Rocket from Barreira do Inferno Carrying 1,000 Student Letters

On November 29, 2024, the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) successfully launched the suborbital sounding rocket VS-30 from the Barreira do Inferno Launch Center in Parnamirim, Rio Grande do Norte. This mission marked a significant milestone for the Brazilian Space Program, as it carried approximately 1,000 letters written by public school students from the region. The letters, which express the students' hopes and aspirations, are expected to return to Earth after crossing the atmosphere, ultimately landing in the Atlantic Ocean.
