NASA Plans Floating Moon Train, High-Tech Railway for 2028 Mission

NASA has announced plans to construct a railway station and operate trains on the Moon, aiming to support future human settlements. This ambitious project, part of NASA's Innovative Advanced Concepts program, involves the development of a high-tech railway system using levitating magnetic robots capable of transporting up to 100 tonnes of materials. The initiative, featuring a floating moon train, is expected to be completed in the 2030s and is designed to facilitate transportation on the lunar surface as astronauts prepare for missions, including a targeted 2028 mission.
