Sierra Space's LIFE 285 Exceeds NASA Safety Levels by 22% in Inflatable Module Test; New Frontier Aerospace Tests Rocket Engine

Sierra Space has made significant advancements in its development of the first commercial space station, achieving a major milestone with the successful completion of the second Ultimate Burst Pressure test of its LIFE 285 structure at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center. The test demonstrated that the inflatable module exceeded NASA's recommended safety levels by 22%, well above the required four times safety margin. This achievement underscores the durability of the inflatable space habitat, which is being developed in collaboration with NASA. Meanwhile, New Frontier Aerospace has tested a rocket engine aimed at point-to-point travel, and CAS-SPACE completed another test of the first stage engine for its Kinetica-2 launch vehicle. Additionally, LANDSPACE is preparing for a 10km vertical takeoff and landing test flight of its Zhuque-3 prototype, which will include significant reusability tests.
